How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your TwinGarden account, email us from the address connected to your TwinGarden account, or include that account email in your request.
Email deletion request- Send an email to growtwingarden@gmail.com.
- Use the subject line: TwinGarden account deletion request.
- Include the email address used for your TwinGarden account and the sign-in method you used, such as Google or Facebook.
- If you had a subscription, include your Google Play order ID if available. Do not send payment card details.
We may ask for limited additional information to verify that the request is coming from the account owner before deleting account data.
What will be deleted
When your request is verified, TwinGarden will delete or de-identify account data associated with your app account from active systems, including:
- Account profile information, app preferences, onboarding answers, language and unit settings.
- Garden sites, growing space details, site location data, plant records, wishlist items, care actions, journal entries, measurements, health observations, and harvest records.
- Plant photos and photo metadata stored for your account.
- Pip or plant chat messages, AI summaries, memory notes, and other account-linked personalization data.
- Quiz progress, answers, XP, levels, streaks, and feedback linked to your account.
- Notification tokens and account-linked app settings where they are stored by TwinGarden.
What may be kept
Some information may be retained for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, service integrity, or backup recovery.
- Purchase and subscription records handled by Google Play Billing and RevenueCat may be retained as required for billing, refund, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
- Security, audit, diagnostic, abuse-prevention, or support records may be retained where needed to protect users and operate TwinGarden.
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained.
- Backup copies may persist for a limited period before normal rotation removes them.
Timing
We aim to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days. Data in active systems is deleted or de-identified after verification and processing. Backup copies may remain until normal backup rotation completes, generally up to 90 days.
Deleting your TwinGarden account is permanent. You may lose gardens, plant records, photos, AI memories, quiz progress, and other account-linked history. Deleting the app from your device does not automatically delete your account.
Subscriptions
Deleting your TwinGarden account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. If you have an active subscription, manage or cancel it through Google Play subscriptions.
